Quietside Cruises
Our wooden lobster boat, the Elizabeth T. was built right here on Mount Desert Island out of local cedar and oak. She carries up to 21 passengers, making a perfect size boat for sightseeing, island picnics, and lobster fishing demonstrations. Join us on one of our cruises or book your own private charter.
Cruise into Somes Sound Fjord and haul a lobster trap! Learn all about lobsters and how fishermen bait and trap them. We'll visit a seal colony on East Bunker Ledge and see the 100 year old Osprey nest on Sutton Island. We'll also cruise by Bear Island Lighthouse and Cranberry Island where a fishing community is anchored after 200 years! This excursion is a real hands-on experience great for the whole family and full of wildlife and local knowledge.

DINNER CRUISE TO ISLESFORD
Enjoy the fresh bounty of seafood and locally grown produce at the Islesford Dock Restaurant on Little Cranberry Island. After dinner, enjoy the sunset as we make our way back to Southwest Harbor, enjoying views of Cadillac Mountain and Acadia National Park along our way. We arrange your dinner reservations for you.
